Week Four

Our stars of the week this week were Zak and Cacee.

Last Monday we presented our poems in assembly.  Some of us found it challenging to stand up in front of everyone and share our work.

Here are just a few of our poems.

Crazy!

It was so crazy that I heard,

The moon talk to mars!

It was so crazy that I heard,

A space ship land on our roof!

It was so crazy that I saw

everyone became grey, black and white.

Quiet

It was so quiet that I heard,

A bird chirping and tweeting.

It was so quiet that I heard,

A bunny fluffing his tail.

It was so quiet that I heard,

A bee eating its nectar

It was so quiet that I heard,

A movie in the making!

Silence

It was so silent that I heard

A bird singing a song from the tree.

It was so silent that I heard

A worm wiggle across the lawn.

It was so silent that I heard

A baby bird hatching from the egg.

Peace

It was so peaceful that I heard

A star twinkle in the dark night sky.

It was so peaceful that I heard

A dog tiptoeing across the road.

It was so peaceful that I heard

A eagle swoop down catching a grey mouse in its claws.

Quiet

It was so quiet I heard

a bumble be riding on the back of a roller coaster.

It was so quiet I heard

a little girls tears running down her cheeks .

It was so quiet that I heard

a cockroach climbing through our news paper.

It was so quiet that I heard

the end of the poem coming near.

We hope you enjoyed reading just a few of our poems as much as we enjoyed writing them.
